For your exclusive use, the spacious, comfortable L-shaped lounge offers you a panoramic vista of Lake District mountains, the river Derwent and the Gem Town of Cockermouth. Here you can really relax and soak up the view. Apart from the cosy sofa seating area there are further tables and very comfortable leather and walnut chairs for your use - and of course here is also where we serve our delicious breakfasts, freshly cooked to order and according to your personal wishes.

Your personal fridge with fresh milk (supplied free of charge) is to be found in the hallway near the bedrooms for your convenience.

The various comfortable seating areas for breakfast, reading or playing games are there for your convenience as well. The lounge has direct access to a generous decking with a sustainable teak table and matching chairs. Two charming English cottage garden areas, a good-sized lawn, various seating areas and marvellous views help you relax and unwind. We also have a Zen garden which, admittedly not typically Cumbrian, nevertheless contributes to the calming and relaxing atmosphere to be found in the scenery of the Lakes.
